L’installation "Polygon Playground" is a land of interactive game conceived by Whitevoid. Between artistic installation and architecture, his volume becomes support of projections and transforms itself under l’impulsion of its users. A project that questions us on the dialog possibilities between l’architecture and its users.
Well far traditional lands of game, of their portiques and of their swings, Polygon Playground Takes the form d’un monolithic to the multiples facets, between stylized iceberg and miniature mountain. Drawn by Whitevoid for the Smukfest, L’un more big festivals of Danish music, this game land can welcome jusqu’à 40 invited people to traverse its slopes or to s’assoir on its fishbones. During this time, a projection system in 3 dimensions will project videos on the volume to 360°.
Between artistic installation and architecture, the concrete and built volume becomes the support d’une projection, his surface, his color, his texture change thus in real time, to the taste videos but also according to his usage. Thanks to a system of sensory sensors, l’utilisateur becomes in fact actor of the spectacle. Its movements in l’espace and on the influential support on the projections, their deformations, their undulations. According to its movements, the volume is thus traversed waves, of flow, of colors and of textures. The effects are multiple: the fishbones are underlined by traits of made blue light, recalling l’univers potential of the film of science fiction Tron, the volume recovers itself graphic motives, is traversed by luminous spheres, seems to fill d’eau or to be lit up l’intérieur.
