Perfected by three researchers of l’Université of Toronto, "ILoveSketch" is a computer solution that allows creating models 3D from simple sketches to raised hand. An original, simple and intuitive solution that could well prefigure the future of the software of modelling 3D.

While the software of modelling and d’esquisse 3D as Sketchup Become with the passing of the more and more performance and intuitive versions three researchers of the Department of Computer Science of l’Université of Toronto propose an alternate resolutely innovating solution.

With ILoveSketch, seok-hyung Bae, Ravin Balakrishnan and Karan Singh in fact conceived a procedure of creation of model 3D by capture of the movements of the pencil such qu’utilisé on a paper leaf.

The designer sketches thus on a screen a simple sketch in two dimensions to l’aide d’un stiletto, as it would do it on his notebook. During this time, with the passing of the drawing, l’application itself in charge of creating the model 3D corresponding.

To l’usage designers, designers or professional designers, ILoveSketch will integrate many functions and help the drawing as the verification of the traced bends and the surface selection. D’autres functionalities are again in development course.

An astonishing solution to discover on this demonstration video:
