Crack Garden

Recently honored by l’American Society of Lanscape Architects, "Ace Garden" is a project of urban garden where the vegetation takes roots in the fissures of the concrete. Humble, shifted and inspiring.

Realized to San Francisco by CMG Landscape Architecture, agency of Californian paysagisme, this project s’inspire of this spontaneous vegetation that colonizes the urban accidents of our landscapes.

For this garden, of the bled were created in the concrete. And c’est in these voluntary fissures qu’ont next planted summers the vegetable ones.

The nature develops thus to the heart of the flagstones as her develops sometimes in our cities, in the injured surfaces of ground of the parking lots, in the fissures d’un wall or d’un sidewalk.

These wild plants brawls d’herbes and of multicolored flowers can well, little by little, to get the upper hand on l’architecture. An inspiring creation that invites to carry another look on the urban, wild nature and rudérale.

"Ace Garden" has just received a price d’honneur in the category "residential Project" at the time of the discount of the Professional Awards 2009 of l’American Society of Lanscape Architects.

    Très tendance comme innovation mais cela s’appliquerait bien aux murs, du genre murs végétalisables?

    Très belle idée mais quel dommage que les fissures dans le béton aient été volontairement produites!.. je trouve qu’il manque un côté moins structuré, moins architecturé et plus aléatoire dans ce jardin ainsi créé.
