By the exposed projects as by his astonishing stagecraft, this exposition indicates l’influence digital technologies on the contemporary architectural conception."Flow: Architecture in has Parametric Landscape" is an exposition imagined by the department Architecture of the California College of Arts of San Francisco (CCA Architecture) and by his laboratory of research Medialab.
After using as simple tool of representation, l’informatique is aujourd’hui to the heart of our manners to conceive. Model paramétriques, various simulations, integration of the manufacture as early as the first sketches, the architectural conception knew these 20 last years of the major evolutions and carriers many promises.
Coordinated by Andrew Kudless, architect, teaching and director of Medialab, l’exposition "Flow: Architecture in has parametric landscape" present 50 projects d’architecture, long-term or construct, illustrating l’impact numerical tools on the conception as well as their potential ones. Exactly conceived according to these procedures, the complex and rippling structure on which are presented the projects testifies she also of the possibilities offered by the models paramétriques and by the digital manufacture.
