The Dutch brand Zuiver is committed to eco-responsible design and unveils the “Thirsty” range, a collection of chairs made from recycled plastic. The result ? Timeless and refined models which prove that for an aesthetic result, there is no need to bet on polluting materials and design methods!

27.03.20  Exhibition: Ban

After a first edition at L'Orfèvrerie de Saint-Denis (93) last year, the “BAN” exhibition returns in 2020 with an enlarged version at the General Stores in Pantin (93). 

26.03.20  Gundry + Ducker: White Rabbit House

Located in the Canonbury district of Islington (United Kingdom), characterized by a large presence of neo-Georgian mansions, a building from the 1970s stands out. Rehabilitated by the Gundry & Ducker Architecture Studio, the house in a thousand shades of green and terrazzo stands out in a typically English landscape.

In the city of Zapopan in Mexico, stands the Casa A690. This residential house from the seventies gets a facelift after being completely renovated by the Mexican architect Delfino Lozano. 

24.03.20  Faulkner Architects: Burnt Cedar

The American agency Faulkner Architects, created by Greg Faulkner in 1998, built a spacious family home called "Burnt Cedar" for a family of car enthusiasts. Located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe opposite Burnt Cedar Beach in Incline Village (Nevada, United States), the residence rhymes with steel, light wood, textured concrete, glass and contemporary furniture.

23.03.20  Cent15 architecture: Tiger Paper

The contemporary Papier Tigre stationery is getting a makeover! Under the leadership of the agency Cent15 architecture, the space on rue des Filles du Calvaire (3rd arrondissement) now includes a sales area, a customization area and a manufacturing workshop. A place with an industrial soul warmed by the colors of the brand's iconic notebooks.

Ceramics are making a comeback, it's official! But no question of being satisfied with granny's plates and bowls. Thanks to numerous designer studios, ceramics are entering the 21st century and adopting bold shapes and colors. The perfect example to illustrate this trend? The young Caudex Studio, founded less than a year ago in Brooklyn, which amazes us with its sculptural vessels.

20.03.20  Spaceworkers: Interpretation center of Romanesque art

The Portuguese architecture and design studio Spaceworkers, founded by architects Henrique Marques and Rui Dinis, and by financial consultant Carla Duarte, designs a concrete building to house the Interpretation Center for Romanesque art. Located in the city of Lousada in Portugal, this very contemporary building reinterprets the vocabulary of Romanesque architecture.

A “borderline” and prolific designer, Florence Doléac imagines objects, halfway between art and design, with a lot of humor. The designer from Toulouse, now based in Douarnenez in Brittany, told us, between two courses at the National School of Decorative Arts, her practice of design, her relationship to creation and her daring projects. Meet.

15.03.20  Exhibition: Houses for Superstars, hypermedia architecture

Until March 15, the exhibition “Houses for Superstars, hypermedia architecture” organized by the villa Noailles in Hyères (83), addresses hypermedia architecture through the prism of celebrity houses.
