22.10.08  Moos, between health and furniture

Moss line blurs the boundaries between currents sanitaryware and bathroom furniture. Here the furniture disappears, sinks, basins and bidets are extended, connected to each other by small complementary pieces that serve as shelves, brackets or towel.

Lighting the streets with our used batteries is what Energy Seed, developed by designers Sung Woo Park and Sunhee Kim, offers. Waste collection and energy optimization, their new concept of urban lighting is doing double duty.

The designer Duncan Wilson proposes a multilayer and precut wallpaper. Composed of a multitude of post-it to be stripped one by one, the coating becomes writing medium and turns over its use.

In his light installation "Chromointerference Mechanics", the Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez dissolves space and architecture in the light. And the visitor loses its bearings.

Located in the heart of Helsinki, the Citywall is a wall screen accessible to passers-by, providing them with real-time urban and municipal information. But more than a simple digital medium, the Citywall shines with its interactivity and advanced ergonomics, using the latest touchscreen technologies. A new, intuitive and spectacular way to inform in an urban environment.

Between urban art installation and video game, Pong-Ampel invites passersby to share part until the light turns green. An original and fun way to animate the city and promote interaction and dialogue between citizens.

17.10.08  M-Velope transformable structure

Between art and architecture work, the artist and designer Michael Jantzen has created M-Velope, a small pavilion to be transformed architecture. Here no complex manipulation is required, the user deforms the envelope and space according to your desires, just as he would move his furniture in its interior.

13.10.08  Make like a bird

Designed by Gerard Moline and produced by Droog Design, the Nest House is a shelter suspended in trees. A project that is of slight and ephemeral in its context.

08.10.08  Plug and Live System architecture recycling

While others recycle containers, Argentine architecture firm A77 reuses old boxes of wood to shape prototypes of modular housing, light and ephemeral. A low-tech approach, sustainable and flirting with original art and design.
