18.01.16 Gilles & Boissier: The Chess Hotel
Located in the IX arrondissement of Paris rue Helder, the Chess Hotel wanted to stand back from the lively Paris. The entrance is a timid call inviting the visitor to take a gentle slope to a staircase leading to the reception, thus avoiding a front to the street. It's upstairs that deploys the aesthetic universe of this four-star hotel.

Following work carried out over more than a year, the architect Laurent Vialle and the duo Clémence and Clément Goutal delivered the renovation of the Fidélité by rethinking the place in an art deco style.

The źródło.bar was entirely designed and built by Adam architectepolonais Wiercinski. This bar located in Poznan, Poland was visually enlarged by its layout and its industrial style furniture.

The renovation and extension of the Cellar Bar, located on an island in the Azores archipelago, was directed by the FCC Arquitectura studio and interior designer Paulo Lobo. The wooden extension, the organic expression, has a terrace with stunning views of the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel is the Qvest in a magnificent neo-Gothic building completely refurbished by Michael Kaune which provided for the furniture, pieces from his personal collection thus offering residents a unique setting in the city of Cologne.
