Sonia Verguet: Folklore

Strasbourg young designer trained in the Decorative Arts, Sonia Verguet partnered with chef Olivier Meyer, with whom she develops culinary design projects. Noticed at the last Paris Design Week, his collection "Folklore" is composed of three different prints that revisit table linen using our formal and common emotional memories.

These three prints are inspired by the shape of the house and everyday moments of sharing. Red and white fabrics, as a nod to the gingham tablecloth pizzeria on the corner, like a cloth lying on the ground at a luncheon on the grass, covered with a house motive end timbered if end that recalls the work of embroidery doilies on the table of our grandmothers.
