Vanessa Scoffier : Hôtel Henriette

In a peaceful cobbled alley in the 13th arrondissement nestles the Henriette hotel, a boutique hotel whose interior was designed by the owner of the premises: Vanessa Scoffier. The decorator has managed to combine vintage pieces and designer objects, a bohemian-Parisian spirit and Scandinavian furnishings, for this self-proclaimed “happy broc'n'roll” establishment.

Vanessa Scoffier wished they feel at Hotel Henriette like visiting friends, with a high interior style and personality. Chineuse unconditional, she spent months scouring 15 markets Parisian flea to find styles and pieces from different periods.

Thus, each of 32 rooms has its own story, told by a few brush strokes, carefully selected furniture and concepts. Some walls are decorated with pink neon paint stripes or wallpaper with metallic sheen, while others are covered with raw plywood or painted geometric shapes.

Platner chair here, there a Knoll buffet, coffee table Guariche or a barber's mirror, while a wallpaper Arte rivals gym mats of 50 years supported by rope lighting signed Christien Meindertsma for Thomas Eyck.

The abundance of flowery details offered inside the hotel continues outside in a leafy backyard, a cozy winter garden and friendly at the same time.
