Cyrille Druart : Optique Ampère

The designer and interior designer Cyrille Druart just imagine the interior of the shop "Optics Ampere" in Grenoble.

Located on the ground floor of a new apartment building, the store is built around an inclined concrete post that draws the space. The walls are inclined by following the angle of this post, and the immaculate display dresses all the walls. On 8 levels, he designed the place and created the link between the street and the store, calling the course.

On this project, Cyrille Druart says:

"We wanted to start from scratch and rethink the idea of the optical shop, which seemed too formatted, and invariably repeated. He had to find solutions to offer a new experience.
Our approach has been to work within space and the outer shell together to create a through-view from the street and arouse curiosity. The interior is based on a fluid formal language, the visit is constructed as a journey to discover the products in a certain order, and whose rhythm is given by a set of furniture with dynamic forms.
We wanted to create an overall experience where visitors will not just buy glasses, but plunging them into something different and unique that they will remember. "
