In Rennes, the agency Blanchet d'Istria realizes the bathrooms of the hotel Balthazar. Sylvie Blanchet and Thierry d'Istria imagine refined spaces where industrial and comfort are combined with sobriety.
"Use of health should be easy, the materials should not blur the view but to the rest. Everything must be conducive to serenity and calm" Blanchet agency Istria
Celine and Sebastien Meslin, the Balthazar hotel owners, wished to offer their customers the opportunity to feel it "at home". Much attention has been paid to furniture, curtains, cushions through large libraries filled with books and objects. The bathrooms are a continuation of the atmosphere declined in the hotel.
In the bedrooms, the bathroom space is delimited by a canopy of black metalwork and polished glass that lets in natural light without compromising the privacy of the occupants. The vanity in black metal and its mirror are integrated into the canopy and extend the industrial atmosphere of the place.
If releasing luxury hotel codes, interior designers drew a basin in resin to produce a mild form to the eye and to the touch, complemented by the Axor Bouroullec collection with minimalist lines. Marble and glass mosaic dress pasta floors and walls with elegance and sobriety.
