For weeks, the Maltese architecture firm Chris Briffa is housed in a facility with perforated walls, inviting visitors to slip an indiscreet glance inside and observe the work of the team on the spot.

With these detached houses built by the sea in Uruguay, architects Moorhead & Moorhead and Florencia Moralejo explore local know-how.
