Created by the Archimedia group, the Young Moroccan Architecture Awards (YMAA) will reward the creativity of architectural achievements signed by young Moroccan architects. The call for applications for the first edition is open to architects under the age of 45 until October 10, 2020.
Supported by the magazine of and awarded by a jury composed exclusively of architects, the 10 + 1 Architectural Prize was awarded to eleven architectural projects built in France last year. The concept of hospitality in casino complexes is a major issue. The very concept of hospitality means “feeling good” in a place that is not your home but makes you feel like you are at home. The spectrum of hospitality goes beyond hotels with upscale casinos, Michelin-starred restaurants, boutiques and big brands. Many architecture and interior design agencies have this same idea in mind in order to create and design places that are both welcoming and modern in which the visitor will feel welcome. For the Pechanga Resort Casino, Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors took up the challenge of placing hospitality at the center of this casino complex.

For the second year in a row, the “Audience Award” category rewards the architectural project that obtained the most votes on Muuuz magazine. The “Audience Award” thus recognizes the participation of our readers in the ADC Awards. Among all the projects selected by the editorial staff, the new cellar of Maison Delas Frères signed Carl Fredrik Svenstedt stood out with more than 16 votes!
The “Housing” category nominates the most admirable architectural achievements in terms of individual and collective housing. This year, the juries and the readers rewarded an astonishing family house located in Cherbourg (50) and a set of 71 social housing units in La Courneuve (93).
