With this project delivered last September, the ambition of the architects was to create the Hospital of tomorrow. Beyond the technicality and functionality of their proposal, they have thus endeavored to offer a new image to the Hôpital Nord-Ouest, an image filled with humanity and gentleness, conveying well-being and attention, the image so, from the Hospital of the future…
Initiated by Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Region, the second edition of the Biennale of architecture and landscape of the Île-de-France Region will be held from May 14 to July 13, 2022, mainly in Versailles, and will have the theme “Earth and cities”. Its general curatorship is provided by François de Mazières, mayor of Versailles and former president of the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine, as for its first edition in 2019 which welcomed 200 visitors around the theme "Man, nature and the city”.
In this house, the inhabited space is revealed through the views that unfold according to the winds and tides, like a living postcard. It is in the capture of these moments that the project emerges, where each new fragment of architecture fits and dances in its context.
10 years ago, on June 30, 2012, the news made the rounds of the media: the Nord-Pas de Calais mining basin won its bet, it is recognized as "Treasure of humanity"! It joins the prestigious List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, alongside "wonders of the world" such as the Pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China or the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.
Recognized worldwide for its expertise and its innovative technical and environmental performance, CLIPSO was selected by the architecture firm Hickok Cole to carry out an ambitious project during the renovation of the headquarters of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), a leading international non-profit scientific association based in Washington DC.
