24.03.20 Faulkner Architects: Burnt Cedar

The American agency Faulkner Architects, created by Greg Faulkner in 1998, built a spacious family home called "Burnt Cedar" for a family of car enthusiasts. Located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe opposite Burnt Cedar Beach in Incline Village (Nevada, United States), the residence rhymes with steel, light wood, textured concrete, glass and contemporary furniture.

20.03.20 Spaceworkers: Romanesque interpretation center

The Portuguese architecture and design studio Spaceworkers, founded by architects Henrique Marques and Rui Dinis, and by financial consultant Carla Duarte, designs a concrete building to house the Interpretation Center for Romanesque art. Located in the city of Lousada in Portugal, this very contemporary building reinterprets the vocabulary of Romanesque architecture.

Until March 15, the exhibition “Houses for Superstars, hypermedia architecture” organized by the villa Noailles in Hyères (83), addresses hypermedia architecture through the prism of celebrity houses. A first for the center of art of national interest in the Var, whose historic building embodies the meeting between star sponsors, social patrons Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles, and a famous modernist architect, Robert Mallet-Stevens.
