Designer Mathieu Lehanneur comes to design the new Children's Workshop at the Center Pompidou. Inaugurated on July 10, this 300 m2 space offers children from 2 to 12 years old the opportunity to learn about art and creation in a
playful universe of curves inspired skateparks.
"The Children's Workshop consists of three areas: an area dedicated workshop for toddlers to 2 5 years, an area of" shop around an artist "for children to 6 12 years and, finally, a multipurpose space. Designed and equipped to receive any type of activity (work plastic floor, wall, space, visual and sound installations, dance practices ...), these spaces include an entrance hall , instead of breathing that can accommodate children for which the designer has created a scalable seat, alcoves and a wall "sense" where all the tools are available to children guided by facilitators to stimulate their creativity. "
It should be noted that at the end of August 2010, the Centre Pompidou opened its new space dedicated to teenagers, project also commissioned Mathieu Lehanneur.
