In China, the Ningbo Museum of History and surprises shuffleboard. Between contemporary architecture and remains of ancient buildings.

In a contemporary architectural landscape made of glass, concrete and steel, the Ningbo Museum is an event. Imagined by Wang Shu - Amateur Architecture Studio and recently photographed by Iwan Baan, it reveals indeed a surprising plasticity.

Composed of stone shapes, sizes and various colors, its mineral skin gives this building today on the appearance of ancient architecture, between the castle, Mayan temple and Egyptian pyramid.
