Parasite Prefab de Lara Calder

The alternative housing Lara Calder transplant prototype is in the undeveloped areas on blank walls and blind. Another way to densify the city.

With the project "Prefab Parasite", the Australian architect suggests indeed inhabit the abandoned areas, some large urban vertical façades or as here the piles of a bridge. High up, above the bustle of the street, this parasite property is accessible by a retractable staircase.

This "Prefab Parasite" was entirely designed in the form of a parametric model 3D. Structure, floors, walls or stairs, all the elements can thus be adapted simply for the project to find its place in contexts and on various sites.
