Slit House

Designed by the Japanese architecture firm Eastern Design Office, this single storey house consists of a concrete wall 105 meters long. Winding along the plot, it is pierced as thin vertical slots.

Stretching on a narrow plot of 50 7,5 meters long meters wide, this wall is punctuated by openings for any height. slots of 14 centimeters wide, framing the view, playing with light and shadows to create indoor environments changing depending on the time of day.
