Musée de Kanayama par Kengo Kuma

Japan, Ota, the architectural firm Kengo Kuma has created a museum whose facade in stone mosaic is inspired by the medieval castle of the city.

Made of stone tiles mounted on a steel structure, the facade is inspired by that of the medieval fortress of Kanayama and reinterprets traditional Japanese symbolic contemporary way.
