Coat House par Sofie Thorning

A Kolding in Denmark, architect Thorning Sofie has renovated this house built in 1949 to suit the standards of insulation and energy saving today. The old building is well covered with a second skin, resting on its existing facade. Well dressed insulation, covered with translucent fiberglass panels and fitted with new triple glazed windows, the house gets a makeover and sees its energy consumption drop by 80%.
