Pawel Grobelny : Out-door-Cinema

For the cultural center of the neighborhood Strombeek in Grimbergen in Belgium, the Polish designer Pawel Grobelny imagined Out-Door-Cinema, an installation halfway between art and architecture. Appendix to the art gallery, this simple wood module allows visitors to access videos of the cultural space 24 24 hours.

This small extension project is embedded on the edge of the cultural center, facing a picture window that overlooks the screen located in the showroom. In light of his suspension on steel frame, a wooden structure with a sound system open to the public. Visible from inside and outside, the film is in the cultural space without sound, not to hinder the visitors to the gallery and inviting those who wish to sit in this amazing cocoon. This project was developed as part of the exhibition "Air Poland" organized by the Cultural Centre of Strombeek.
