Jury Troy architects : 37m House

The Austrian agency Jury troy architects realized "37m House," a long, dark house in Vorarlberg designed to combine family spaces and graphic design studio.

The long narrow terms of "37m House" is due to drawing the boundaries of the parcel located between the woods and wet meadows of Vorarlberg. The owners of the house wanted to live and work under one roof. The areas of work and housing are separated by an outside entrance on the ground floor and a patio upstairs. The 37 meters from the house are organized as a sequence of spaces along a main traffic.

To design the facade, the architects were inspired singular work of its owner, graphic designer. It consists of an anthracite polyethylene skin that can be used as advertising space. In the manner of a table united the owner can easily project on its facade, chalk or display. The facade becomes a means of communication.
The openings and windows were carefully arranged in order to frame the best views from inside the house.
