Maison Sarah Lavoine + Vincent Bastié : Le Roch

At the heart of the first district of Paris, Sarah Poniatowski and Vincent Bastie realize the development of the five-star Le Roch. Preferring the luxury of simplicity to pomp deployment, they imagine a chic and authentic decoration where live colors, patterns and noble materials in a truly Parisian style.

The hotel is organized in two wings, Argenteuil and Saint-Roch, between which is inserted a terrace, veritable bubble vegetated with the shelter of the Parisian tumult. On both sides are 38 rooms including several suites, some with a private hammam or a hidden terrace. In the basement, a subdued SPA completes this haven of peace.

The rooms are dressed in creamy hues or hottest tones such as gray, tawny or petrol blue, the emblematic color of Sarah Lavoine's projects. This one is found on each floor of the establishment, even in hammams clad in zelliges, small ceramic tiles reminiscent of Morocco, a style dear to the interior designer who loves to spread it here and there, especially in the graphic patterns of rugs and carpets inspired by Berber culture. The bathrooms adopt clear lines of light marble surrounded by dark metal.

The spacious lobby opens directly onto the restaurant and lounge. The latter is adorned with darker shades in a warm and confidential spirit evoking the English clubs. Long sofas invite you to relax with the many art books on large black bookcases. The set is punctuated by velvet armchairs with floral motifs and embellished with golden metal whose brightness is reminiscent of the fireplace.

Adjoining the patio, the restaurant is crowned with a sky-dome pierced in the center of the wooden coffered ceiling. Small glass tables rimmed with brass are distributed from this point, surrounded by banquettes and armchairs in velvet blue, green or pink powdery. The natural light well is completed by clusters of white light fixtures. While most of the furniture was custom-made for the project, some designer pieces illustrate the many collaborations and sources of inspiration of Sarah Lavoine.
