Atelier Yok Yok : Haute Tension

At the heart of the Hotel de Sauroy, 17ème century mansion located in the Marais district of Paris, L'Atelier Yok Yok offers the High Voltage Installation, reference line to exposed clothing lines in the world of Haute Couture .

The apartment, called "apartment lantern" once belonged to Michel Chamillart, Comptroller General of Finance and Secretary of State for War Louis XIV. Moldings and the whiteness of the place constantly provide lighting inside the apartment and offer a clean reading black lines installation. Above the ground, visible and present, the installation allows a free exhibition space; a tensioning thread.

The concept came from the idea of a flow of air through the whole apartment. The goal is to fill the free space above the ground, and across all parts. The first aim is to guide the visitor bringing continuity to the compartmentalized space of the showroom.

The facility consists of black straps stretched, stapled under the door headers and walls in the different passages. (18 straps polypropylene nylon dimension 25mm 100 x m)
The idea is to give a graphic identity, without conflict with the exposed parks. Continuity is made with sobriety, not too impressive in terms of color or character. The intervention is nervous and funky, black and white.
