Moatti-Rivière : Mediacampus

Gathering all the actors of the new media in one and the same place: this was the challenge launched to the agency Moatti-Rivière who imagines on the occasion Mediacampus, a set of 6 000 square meters in the heart of the Island of Nantes . And ... Action!

Behind a facade of colored Gbricks bricks offering a "pixelated" aspect, as a nod to the world of computer and television, are the premises of a local channel (Télé Nantes), a school (Audencia SciencesCom), various communication companies, media, professional associations (Press Club, APCOM) as well as start-ups. An audiovisual microcosm united in a single building spread over five floors promoting exchanges between different trades.

Each user enters the site through a large central lobby with two staircases connecting all the trays and also leading to the green outdoor areas. Between open plateaus and footbridges walks, the whole is governed by free circulations favoring contact and mixing. A desire to create a warm working environment enhanced by an interior with colorful furniture and the use of parquet flooring.

With the light as the guiding thread, the large, largely glazed hall has a geometric and refined LED chandelier following the steps to the common areas such as the student lounges on the ground floor and the 1er floor, the media library at the upper level as well as another rest area located at 5e. Placed in the heart of the project, this meeting place acts as a luminous fault but also opening on the urban space of the new district of the Island of Nantes.

A place that combines conviviality and work brilliantly!

The project is selected for the ADC Awards 2019 in the category Education / Higher
