Bigoni-Mortemard : 49 logements sociaux

In the heart of Avenue de Clichy (17ème arrondissement), at the corner of Bernard Buffet Street, is born a social housing project, located at the gateway to Martin Luther King Park. This achievement has been entrusted to the agency Bigoni-Mortemard which proposes a building in which it is good to live.

The set of 49 social housing at the projecting bow is dressed in a white lacquered aluminum veil, punctuated by the presence of sliding shutters on the south-east facade. Installed on a narrow and complex ground, the project proposes, thanks to these installations, loggias adjustable according to the degree of opening of the curtains. An appreciable flexibility for residents who will, as they wish, take advantage of the different Parisian views offered by the multiplicity of orientation; bonus for users facing south which, in addition to benefit from optimal brightness, open their shutters on the Eiffel Tower and on Martin Luther King Park.

Another strong point of the installation, a courtyard garden is directly located on the first floor and will welcome locals looking for calm and green spaces. The central hall, serving floors and apartments, also has an artistic installation signed Nonotak.

The dwellings are all built on a more or less similar typology - varying surfaces. They have an entrance hall type space or loggia opening onto a large living room with open kitchen. The night area, more intimate, is distinct from the rest of the set and an outdoor area extends the stay.

A haven of peace for its inhabitants.

The project is selected for the ADC Awards 2019 in the Housing / Urban Center category
