The slogans of this year? Humor and creativity. Jean Blaise - artistic director of this annual meeting - gave free rein to the imagination of his new recruits to awaken the heart of this seaside city. And for good reason, Le Havre, architecture and design, it's a story that lasts for almost 70 years. The so-called "ocean door" was completely redesigned at the beginning of the 1950 years by the architect Auguste Perret, following the bombings of the Second World War.

"Le Havre is a city of architects we love to discover with the respect due to the great creators. Nevertheless, we can not help but provoke her to get her out of her stillness. " Jean Blaise, artistic director of A summer in Le Havre.

And so comes near the docks the city of cardboard ephemeral Forgotten city, designed by the French Olivier Grossetête, while the Narrow House sculptor Erwin Wurm settles on Avenue Foch. A house with narrow dimensions 1 meter 30 wide 18 meters long that piques the curiosity of passersby.

Not far from there, a sound installation punctuates the course of this exhibition in the open sky. The Scottish Susan Philipsz invites residents to be lulled by the call of the sea in the church of St. Joseph. And in the Hanging Gardens, nature takes back its rights with the organic work of the Brazilian Henrique Oliveira, Sisyphus Casemate, who comes to invade one of its galleries in the form of a giant root.

A myriad of artistic events more original than others to discover until September 22.
