Vincent Eschalier : Bureaux Victor Hugo

The Vincent Eschalier studio rehabilitates a private mansion in the 16th arrondissement of the capital into a tertiary complex. Combining the charm of the old with the sobriety of contemporary architecture, the project is dedicated to welcoming a financial company.

Awarded last year for his Phobos project, the Vincent Eschalier studio does not intend to stop transforming the Parisian landscape! This time in the 16thst arrondissement that the agency intervenes, making an old obsolete mansion an office building well anchored in its time.

The project gives a second youth to a beautiful Art Deco building located avenue Victor-Hugo, a few steps from the Janson-de-Sailly high school. First stage ? Restore facades to their former splendor by cleaning them. Once this work was done, the teams were tasked with modifying the interior and spaces of this dilapidated building. The architects are banking on large open-plan and flexible platforms allowing future owners to appropriate the premises at their convenience.

As usual, the studio opted for a marked mix of styles, associating raw and industrial materials and accessories - brushed stainless steel, polished concrete floor and refined lighting - with parquet and almost intact moldings of the room installed in the dome, major asset of the project.

A bias that is, once again, paying off!
