Built in Vila Nova Gaia in Portugal on a parcel landlocked and surrounded by existing homes, this house stands, dark and blind. An embodiment of the Arquitectos Anónimos agency.
Composed of fixed and mobile partes, the stained marine plywood façade allows people to isolate themselves completely from the outside by sealing all openings. Inside, the dark monolith proves immaculate. Of skylights offer space, ventilation and daylight even when the front is closed. On the roof terrace offers views of the nearby sea.
