A graduate of the National School of Architecture and Landscape in Lille and winner of the D'A 2021 architecture prize, Heleen Hart (HBAAT architecture agency) is the first woman architect to work at the Louvre Palace.
Of Dutch nationality, Heleen Hart by her career, will be brought to work in Rio de Janeiro, then in Porto, alongside, in particular, Calos Castanheira. Back in France, she multiplied her experiences in Parisian agencies (BP architecture, Plan 01, Franck Hammoutène, Architecture Studio) then in Lille at Tank architectes.
She founded with Mathieu Berteloot the architecture and urban planning studio Hart Berteloot Atelier Architecture Territoire in 2011. HBAAT was created as a multidisciplinary platform, which questions architecture and territory through a global and artistic vision of contemporary creation. , drawing inspiration from disciplines such as contemporary art, photography, design, graphic design and landscape.
HBAAT won the D'A architecture grand prize in 2021 for the cinema project, Le pont des arts, in Marcq-en-Barœul. In parallel with the development of HBAAT projects, Heleen Hart has been teaching at ENSAP Lille since 2011.
She is also the one to whom we owe an exceptional architectural project for the École du Louvre which will be inaugurated in just a few days, on March 11th. The operation, which aims to respond to educational developments and changes in student practices, takes shape through the establishment of a library, a research center and living spaces, i.e. the redevelopment of a more than 1 m300, spread over three levels.
