The first sketches of the future colleges of Osny and Persan have fallen! Project management was awarded to the architectural firm Gaetan Le Penhuel for the Osny establishment, and to the architectural firm Marjan Essamfar & Joe Verons for that of Persan.
The future colleges of Osny and Persan will soon open their doors. The objective is to respond to the population growth in the territory.
Val d'Oise is one of the youngest departments in France, with 29% of its population under the age of 20. 32 million euros will be invested by the Department and the Interdepartmental Solidarity and Investment Fund (FS2i) in the construction of these two new establishments. In total, the Department will devote more than 67 million euros this year to the construction and the Marshall plan for the renovation of colleges.
Thus, the Osny college will be able to accommodate 600 students and will include a half-board service provided for 400 students with a kitchen, a physical education and sports area, a playground, four staff accommodation and a 60-space car park. . Start of construction scheduled for spring 2023 and commissioning for the start of the 2024 school year.
For its part, the college of Osny will have a capacity of 650 students. Its opening is also scheduled for the start of the 2024 school year.
