For the children's pavilion at the Hakone Open Air Museum in Japan, the Tezuka Architects studio imagined a dome made of wooden rafters. Between tradition and anticipation.

This construction 350 square meters consists of over 500 tangled rafters. A traditional material, a simple technical implementation for both an original and futuristic architecture.
