Designed by the Chinese design studio FCJZ Workshop for Design Biennial in Korea Gwamgju, this pavilion to the translucent skin is made of transparent PVC coated with a bamboo veneer finish. Simple and rich at once.

Monolith abstract, this perfect cube consists of 2 modules that visitors will drag to invest in the interior. Once opened, it reveals in fact an intimate and minimal space for meditation.

Behind the apparent simplicity, this sleek volume reconciles opposites. On the massive look, it is actually made of bamboo. Apparently blind, it can be opened to reveal its interior. Square shape, it contains a curved wall. Obviously opaque, it lets light in a transparent open times, like rice paper doors of the traditional Japan.
