The turning of a Parisian street, this surprising wooden door unifies ground floor and first floor. Both door and window balconies, it gets thick and integrates multiple functions.
Combining wood and wrought iron, this Art Nouveau-style door incorporates access to the interior of the accommodation, a window with folding shutters and a small wooden balcony with organic-designed railings. Cantilevered above the door, this balcony, like the vertical upright which seems to support it, creates the space of the threshold. The limit becomes a place, a thick and functional interface between interior and exterior.
