To mark the launch of the site of the future of Amsterdam Film Museum, a building of the sand model erected on the site becomes the medium of spectacular 3D projections.
There are some days was officially launched construction of the new Amsterdam Film Museum. Designed by the Viennese architecture firm Delugan Meissl, the building should be completed by the end 2011.
For this occasion, the advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy and artist and Dutch designer Theo Watson devised a sand sculpture at 5 6 meter long scale model of the future building. Superimposed on this model projections in 3 dimensions and images, real and virtual mix they offer us an experience of architecture and augmented reality.
