Une façade faite d'éviers recyclés

In Utrecht, Vlaardingen and Amsterdam, stands a strange construction signed 2012 Architecten. A pavilion whose façade is made of recycled sinks.

Intended to host various cultural events, the "Sustainable Sky-Box" is an open-air venue. Composed of steel kitchen sinks, its façade is fixed on a supporting structure made of cables and scaffolding.

An amazing plasticity, a particularly inspiring project. It lacks indeed some cuts to transform bins portholes or windows ...

This pavilion is also equipped with a rainwater collection system to irrigate an adjacent community garden ...

To know more about the architectural firm 2012 Architecten, it's here. And to discover the work of artist Jeanne van Heeswijk, who also collaborated on the project, it is the.
