Stitched between three buildings of 9e arrondissement of Paris, the Playground Pigalle Duperré offers a facelift. In charge of this vitamin project: the basketball fan, and creator of the ready-to-wear Pigalle brand, Stéphane Ashpool, who organizes a tournament every year and convinces the mayor of the well-being of the conservation of this hollow tooth.
The site, with its non-regulatory dimensions, was threatened with closure a few years ago, until a first pictorial intervention by Ill Studio and Pigalle in 2015, with the support of the Borough Hall. The plot is biscornue, lengthwise, bias and set between three pine nuts, does not really correspond to the canons of the genus ...
It was on the occasion of the Paris Fashion Week in late September, and with the support of Nike, that the design agency and the clothing brand decided to collaborate again. For this second remodeling, they choose a dressing mixing bright pink, blue and orange. These tones are omnipresent, whether on the grid separating the playground from the street, the two-tone staircase leading to a mysterious side door, the parterre, the walls or even the baskets to the tinted Plexiglas panels. On the ground, the limits have been stylized and simplified. Thus, the snowshoe - area that delimits the distance of shooting to the basketball, is only suggested by some traits. The asymmetrical white contours of the surface bring in their sobriety in a farandole of colors.
A renewed graphics that saved a rather rare game space in the capital.
