Jeremi Ca is an artist living and working in Brittany. After a Master in Art at the University of Rennes, he decided to devote himself entirely to the practice of painting since 2006.
After several periods swinging between figuration and abstraction, the theme of the Line appeared to him during "rudimentary" drawings, made without pretension. These drawings, composed mainly of hatching, strongly marked his attention by the power of their graphics.
For 5 years, the theme of the line has occupied most of his research by the infinity of possibilities it offers.
In a paradoxical world, both superficial and complex, Jeremi Ca considers it important to turn to the essential. This is why the choice to paint by exploiting the constraint of the line (a banal element found everywhere) is for him a means of reconnecting with the concrete.
Jeremi Ca has exhibited in many French galleries, in Europe (Spain and Belgium), as well as in Malaysia. He notably exhibited at Art Paris, one of the largest contemporary art fairs which brings together some of the largest and most prestigious galleries. He is represented by Galerie Wagner.
In 2021, Jeremi Ca participated in three group exhibitions in Paris (“Mesures/Démesures#2″, “Carrés”, “Trésor de Papiers#2″) and made two personal exhibitions in Nantes (“Rainbows, Mars” – Galerie Sabrina Lucas) and in Saint-Malo (“Ondes bleues” – 4th place, La Grande Passerelle).
