At the frontiers of architecture and furniture design, this installation by Studio Makkink & Bey invites us to cut our furniture from the very heart of our walls.

Among other projects, the Droog has presented in Milan the "House of furniture parts". Play within the play to slide in an interior space, this small flag consists of walls pre-cut plywood plates. In these walls, the user can dig and drill, creating multiple transparencies detaching many furniture pieces. These fragments, then he needs to do is assemble to give birth to various benches, chairs and tables.

The "House of furniture parts", an open creation that the user will only adapting to their needs and making it evolve according to his wishes. A conceptual project and functional but very inspiring.
