Mur pense-bête

The designer Duncan Wilson proposes a multilayer and precut wallpaper. Composed of a multitude of post-it to be stripped one by one, the coating becomes writing medium and turns over its use.

Designed by Duncan Wilson in collaboration with Sirkka Hammer, Pixelnotes is a wall covering consisting of 4 paper thicknesses, from light gray to dark gray, on a bright hue of support layer. Each layer of paper is perforated in a grid square module and equipped with a self-adhesive underside in the manner of post-it. The wall thus provides an additional function, the coating becomes the medium of ideas, notes and sketches the most diverse. Each fragment of paper can then remain in place or be lifted and moved, leaving the lower layers gradually appear. The wall keeps track of activity in the house and transformed by using it to create a pixelated pattern very subtle.
