Un lampadaire alimenté par des piles usagées

Enlightening the streets with our used batteries is what the Energy Seed developed by designers Sung Woo Park and Sunhee Kim. Waste collection and energy optimization, their new concept of urban lighting is a double blow.

L'Energy Seed is a floor lamp concept that not only allows the collection of used batteries but also the use of the residual electrical energy they contain when we throw them away. The base of the luminaire is indeed provided with holes corresponding to the diameters of most batteries on the market. The passer-by has only to insert his used batteries to get rid of it. The device will then be responsible for combining all the residual energies thus made available to power the LEDs of the light ring which surmounts it.
