Entre store et luminaire

Designed by Marc Venot, "Store" is a wall light resulting from the crossing of a roller blind cloth and a lamp. Surprising and offbeat.

"Store" is a surface-mounted table lamp made of aluminum structure, 20 Watts fluorescent tube and non-woven fabric.

Mounted on a roller shutter mechanism, the fabric strip will allow the user who unwinds or wraps it to control the lamp and vary the intensity of the light in the room. The role of the roof of this store a little particular is not here to protect the light but to diffuse playing with its support. Not yet published and at the prototype stage, "Store" is nonetheless an original and inspiring idea.

Based in Vincennes, Marc Venot graduated in 2004 from ENSCI / Les Ateliers (National School of Industrial Design). Designer of a luminaire edited by Ligne Roset in 2007, he was also in 2005 laureate of the VIA Project Aids and a VIA label for the suspension "Catch Me" selected by the Observeur du Design 2008.
