Marion Steinmetz : Repose pied 135°

The young designer Marion Steinmetz attended this year's "Meet My Project" exhibition at the Espace Commines in the third district of Paris. The opportunity to discover his creations and to dwell on the "footrest 135 °", a small hybrid furniture, as end table that footrest.

Made of solid oak, this little extra turns into foot rests by a simple rotation of the foam cushion and Kvadrat which hangs on one of its edges. Nesting allows the "footrest 135 °" to turn to bend to the customs of the time.

On this project, Marion Steinmetz says:

"Combining the useful and the pleasant side of his sofa ... This idea took the day when the 135 ° object is born. In its usefulness, this small piece of furniture used as a side table in the living room and, suddenly can turn into a footrest. with a simple rotation of the pad, you can either ask them business (computer, glasses, books, ...) or use it to lie there and put your feet . Two distinct functions for a single object. "
