Jacob Delafon : Carte blanche à Alexis Mabille

At the Maison & Objet show, bathroom specialist Jacob Delafon called on Alexis Mabille, a prodigy of haute couture, to design a complete and refined piece of water in line with his graphic line and that of maker.

Mixing many inspirations, ranging from the Light City to the Greco-Roman style, going through the Victorian era, the bathroom, according to Alexis Mabille, is voluptuous and echoes the sensuality of feminine curves while embodying elegance at the French: discreet and audacious at the same time.

"On this project, Jacob Delafon gave me carte blanche to design a bathroom tailor-made that I imagined with great disproportion. " Alexis Mabille, creator

For this mission, the stylist realizes a boudoir consisting of a bathtub, a shower and a vanity unit. Space is a tribute to the ritual of the toilet that he tries to bring back to the taste of the day. In this room, there is no need to prepare quickly! The materials themselves invite to bask in: calacatta, a variety of white marble, which constitutes the whole of the furniture, to the gold-plated metal parts - structures, bearers and fittings -, which result from a goldsmith's work thorough.

A collection combining two hexagonal know-how that resonate as an invitation to idleness and refinement.
