Benjamin Fournier : Buffets B60 et B30

If the current design is sometimes characterized by a frank minimalism, it is nothing in the work of Benjamin Fournier who is inspired by the 1950 years for the realization of his collection of buffets declined in several colors as pop as the others . Entirely made by hand, this piece of furniture will sharpen the most sad salons.

While planning a career in landscaping, Benjamin Fournier finally turned to the art and design trades of the ESDMAA - the School of Design and Craftsmanship of Auvergne -, whose he graduated in 2013 with the realization of the lamp LIGHT, finely combining glass and concrete.

Last born of the creator - member of the collective Made in France in Transparence, a group of designers promoting the manufacture of furniture in a traditional way and from raw material French - buffets B60 et B30 are the synthesis of his love for the material and the delicacy of his approach.

"I designed this range to offer a timeless and sustainable identity. The graphic rhythm of the stripes energizes and emphasizes the veining of the wood. Its forms and the use of wood bending refer to the work of the famous cabinetmaker and industrialist Michael Thonet. " Benjamin Fournier, designer

Made of solid ash and molded plywood, these small pieces of furniture - 97 centimeters high for 1,50 meters long and 68 centimeters wide - are distinguished by a different wood finish, perforated for the tray and grooved for doors whose colors customizable, vary from pink, yellow, mauve, green or beige.

A sunny collection to follow closely, since many variations - coffee table, console or armchair - will soon see the light of day.
