Wang & Söderström : Collection Excavation

Wang & Söderström, the quirky and whimsical Swedish art studio, made up of space designer Anny Wang and architect Tim Söderström, is experimenting here with the 3D digital printing process in a funny collection of three amazing vases in the form of eggs.

Originally conceived as works of art by the young Swedish studio Wang & Söderström, these three strange eggs have finally become vases. An unusual way to break the line between creativity and functionality.

"The three sculptures are the result of an experimental approach, on how to make live virtual objects. They were created with the precision of the computer software and the 3D printer, which contrasts with their organic appearance. " Anna Wang, designer

Designed in collaboration with Unique Board, a New York company specializing in 3D printing, the works are composed of two parts in polyurethane: a varnished base whose colors vary from orange, black to blue, and of its container stained with multicolored tasks generated according to a computer algorithm in order to echo the eggs of birds.

An atypical and fun collection that combines with humor our most beautiful bouquets of flowers.
