IKEA et Virgil Abloh : Markerad

When the Swedish furniture giant announced its collaboration with one of the hottest designers, the canvas and the (affordable) design enthusiast ignited. An association expected of which only lucky ones will be able to benefit. Return to the collection addressed to Millennials in the well-run campaign.

If the range of furniture and accessories for the house Markerad was to be born in our IKEA stores November 9, the craze it has aroused has forced the Swedish firm to trick to distribute its long-awaited collection. So go to IKEA's 1er website at 6 November to take part in a draw that will allow you to stylize your apartment.

"It's about raising the daily anonymous icons that we use without realizing it. When we put a door-lock on one of the legs of a regular chair, we create something unexpected: an interruption " Virgil Abloh, creator

Consisting of 14 pieces ranging from the seat to the carpet to a new version of the iconic IKEA blue bag, the series designed by the founder of the brand Off-White is a tribute to the dough of the Scandinavian company that has , since the 1950 years, allows small grants to furnish their home with taste. The best example? A sales receipt for the store, under the leadership of Virgil Abloh, becomes a large format rug. There is also a classic wooden chair with a doorstand at its feet, a transparent glass display case with a wooden structure or a clock questioning the concept of time. And the ultimate nod to IKEA's identity is a tool kit that can accommodate all the accessories needed to assemble a kit furniture.

We do not know about you, but at Muuuz, we are looking forward to the 1er November!
