Jeunes Talents 2020 : Annonce des trois finalistes du Tremplin Du Côté de Chez Vous

Du Côté de Chez Vous, a creative label created by Leroy Merlin, has just revealed the three projects selected by the jury as part of the third edition of its call for Young Talent projects. On this occasion, Muuuz invites you to discover the three finalists of the 2020 edition.

Since its creation, the open design springboard of the label Du Côté de Chez Vous allows the new generation of creators to develop a personal project to rethink the habitat of tomorrow. This year, the candidates looked at the theme “Welcome” to reflect on the concept of well-being in housing.

The 2020 Young Talents Springboard allows the three finalists selected by the jury chaired by the Franco-Swedish designer Bina Baitel - and former juror of the ADC Awards 2018 - to carry out the prototyping of their project. The chosen creators benefit from a privileged follow-up in order to concretize the idea developed for the call for projects. A step that will culminate in the selection of the winner in March 2020.

Léa Gibert and Clément Chevelt: Soclo
Presented by architect Léa Gibert and designer Clément Chevelt, the “Soclo” project diverts the plinth. Inspired by the Tokonoma - a small raised alcove in a Japanese home where art objects are displayed -, the two creators imagine customizable plinths that are both functional and decorative, which can be used as shelves or as a small cabinet of curiosities.

Anaëlle Blayo: Marquise
The young interior designer Anaëlle Blayo designs a modular canopy placed on the steps of a private house or on the door steps of an apartment. Oak structure with a glass roof, the awning is multifunctional: you can sit there, hang your coat or even place your plants there. Anaëlle Blayo thus creates a transition space between the street and housing, between private housing and the public sphere.
