Tenue De Ville : Collection « Poème »

The Belgian brand Tenue De Ville is launching a new collection of high-end wallpapers. Trendy and figurative, the “Poème” line declines a dreamlike universe through forty-one references inviting to contemplation. Some creations combine animal figures and plant motifs while others display panoramic landscapes. All decorated with intense colors, these exceptional tapestries offer to enhance the decoration of our interiors.

The wallpaper house Tenue De Ville has launched, since its creation in 2015 by Alexia de Ville, six collections that display an assumed style: "City Garden" (2015), "Ode" (2016), "Balsam" (2017) , "Saudade" (2018), "Spice" (2019) and "Poème" (2020). Today installed in Brussels (Belgium) in a bright workshop and accompanied by its marketing director Julie Coupain, the Belgian designer redefines the production process of wallpapers, whether she draws or paints, now favoring local manufacturing on demand , digital printing and the transformation of scraps into derivatives. Concerned about the environment, Alexia de Ville and Julie Coupain lead Tenue de Ville to a thoughtful production respectful of ecological standards and to a distribution on a smaller scale.

With the “Poème” collection, the designer is inspired by nature and offers to give herself a moment of escape. The wallpapers of this new range indeed offer varied atmospheres which invite to meditation.
The pastels of Tuscany, for example, plunge us into the heart of summer in a typically Italian landscape. The wallpaper Eve, which is available in four colors, orchestrates the meeting of snakes and birds in a wilderness.

The elaborate palette of “Poème” combines summer tones with cooler colors. Alexia de Ville creates harmony in these pieces by daring combinations of bold colors. In its creation MAO Royal, pearl gray combines with ocher, carmine red, emerald green, duck blue or indigo. The plant-inspired designs combine here with sophisticated hues, thus enhancing the whole.

By renewing his creativity with each collection, the Belgian artist seduces us this year with dreamed panoramas, animal stories, figurative patterns, floral decorations and colorful compositions.

A collection as poetic as it is trendy.
